The 33rd international travel and tourism fair, "Holiday World & Region World," was held in Prague from March 14 to 16. The Georgian National Tourism Administration, the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, and multiple tourist companies from Georgia participated in the exhibition.

2024 marks the 16th anniversary of Russia's full-scale military aggression against Georgia. After 16 years, the Russian Federation still continues occupation of Georgia's integral Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions, in violation of the 12 August 2008 Ceasefire agreement brokered by the European Union and in blatant disregard of the fundamental principles and norms of international law. This is confirmed by numerous decisions of the International Criminal Court and the European Court of Human Rights between 2021 and 2024.

On 27 June 2014, with the signing of the Association Agreement, Georgia-EU relations advanced to a qualitatively new stage. The Association Agreement serves as the main legal framework for Georgia-EU cooperation.

On May 7, Ambassador of Georgia participated in the event dedicated to the resumption of direct flights between Tbilisi and Prague.
