The international conference “Europe as a Task”

The international conference “Europe as a Task” took place in Prague on May 12-13. The event was organized by leading think tanks in Czechia (AMO, EUROPEUM, IIR) in partnership with the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Georgia, Gvantsa Barkaia, attended the conference.

On May 12, the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, opened the conference at the inaugural ceremony at Prague Castle. On the conference's working day, May 13, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czechia, Jan Lipavský, delivered a keynote address at the Czernin Palace.

The two-day discussions focused on the defence and security of Europe and transatlantic relations.
