On 14 January 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, Ruslan Abashidze, presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, at Prague Castle.
Within the framework of the ceremony, during a meeting with the President, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations between the two countries and prospects for the further development of cooperation.
The Ambassador of Georgia expressed his readiness to actively contribute to the development and strengthening of relations between the two countries.
President of the Czech Republic wished the newly appointed Ambassador of Georgia success in his future endeavours.
