Meeting with the Director General of European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic
On April 24, in parallel with the participation in the conference of the speakers of the parliaments of the EU countries, the chairman of the European integration committee of the Georgian Parliament, Maka Bochorishvili, held a meeting with the Director General of European Affairs of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jaroslav Kurfurst.
The parties talked about the agenda of Georgia's integration into the European Union and the current situation in terms of fulfilling the 12 priorities of the European Union. Attention was focused on the importance of the support of partner countries in terms of getting Georgia's candidate status. Also, the conversation touched on regional security issues.
The willingness to continue close cooperation between Georgia and the Czech Republic in the direction of Georgia's integration into the European Union was expressed.
