Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Czech Republic were established on January 1, 1993. A tremendous incentive was given to the existing bilateral ties by opening of the Georgian Embassy in Prague, in March 2006. Nowadays, Georgia and the Czech Republic enjoy close cooperation in bilateral, as well as multilateral formats. The friendly relations of the two states are based on mutual interests and shared values. The firm support of the Czech Republic towards Georgia`s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as country`s European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, alongside with the experience sharing on democratic development, is of particular importance for us.
The Embassy of Georgia aims at the further deepening and strengthening of the bilateral cooperation between Georgia and the Czech Republic. Since the very opening of our mission, many important projects have been implemented, a number of high-level visits have been exchanged and significant contacts have been established on various levels. The Embassy of Georgia actively collaborates with the Parliament, Government, Ministries, financial, economic and cultural institutions as well as leading non-governmental organizations of the Czech Republic.
The Embassy will be at the disposal to everyone interested in obtaining more information about Georgia. You can also visit Embassy`s Facebook Page.
